Privacy Policy

Dan-Bos ApS collects information about visitors through the use of so-called cookies, or by users providing their information themselves on the site. According to the law, Dan-Bos ApS is obliged to protect and respect the privacy of users. Our privacy policy is outlined below. Dan-Bos ApS recommends that any user of the site carefully reads the privacy policy below.

Personal data means all types of information related to a human person, which in this context constitutes a data subject. Personal data includes all information that can be used to describe or conclude something regarding your identity, such as your name, phone number, address, or email address. Statistical data, for example, collected when you visit the website and which does not relate to you as a human person, is not included in the definition of personal data.

What are the collected information used for?

To ensure that the content on secondhand-equipment.com is presented in the most effective way for the user and to provide the user with the offers, news, information, products, or services the user requests, or which Dan-Bos ApS believes may interest the user, where the user has consented to be contacted for such purposes.

The information is also used to conduct surveys to improve the user's interaction with Dan-Bos ApS and to notify the user of changes to Dan-Bos ApS service.

IP addresses

Dan-Bos ApS may collect information about the user's computer, including possibly the user's IP address, operating system, and browser type, for system administration. Where are the users' personal information stored?

According to the Personal Data Act, users' personal information must be stored securely and confidentially. However, we cannot guarantee 100% security of data transfers over the Internet. This means that there may be a risk of others gaining unauthorized access to information when data is transmitted and stored electronically. You thus provide your personal information at your own risk.

The rapid development of the Internet means that changes in our processing of personal data may be necessary. We therefore reserve the right to update and change these guidelines for the processing of personal data. In case of significant changes, we will notify you through a visible message on our websites.

To the extent that personal data about you is processed, you have the right, according to the Personal Data Act, to be informed of what personal data can be attributed to you. If it turns out that the information or data processed about you is inaccurate or misleading, you have the right to demand that it be deleted or blocked. You can object at any time to information about you being processed. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. You have the opportunity to complain about the processing of information and data about you. Complaints are submitted to the Danish Data Protection Agency, cf. section 58 (1) of the Personal Data Act.

Who can access the information?

The user's personal information may be disclosed in the following cases:

If Dan-Bos ApS sells or buys a business or assets, in which case Dan-Bos ApS may disclose the user's personal information to the potential seller or buyer of such business or assets.

If Dan-Bos ApS is required to disclose the user's personal information to comply with a legal obligation, or to enforce or apply our General Terms and Conditions. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purpose of fraud protection or similar.

Dan-Bos ApS may also disclose personal information to a data processor, for the purpose of performing services on our behalf. For example, in connection with infrastructure and IT services, the process of credit and payment card transactions, customer service, collection of overdue invoices, for analyzing and improving data and processes, and in connection with customer surveys. In this context, the data processor is not authorized to use or disclose the user's personal information for any purpose other than to perform the above tasks.

Newsletters

Dan-Bos ApS offers you to subscribe to a free newsletter.

Dan-Bos ApS uses newsletters. If you choose to subscribe to the newsletter yourself, we will store your name and email address until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. In addition, we store your IP address and the time of registration to protect against misuse of your personal data.

Your email address is the only information we need to send the newsletter to you. All other information is voluntary.

You can withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter at any time. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter by sending an email to info@dan-bos.dk or in the email. Information you provide to us will not be shared with third parties, and your data will be deleted when you withdraw your consent.

Cookies

Dan-Bos ApS uses Shopify Analytics.
